About

I came to the low vitamin A protocol the same way most people do — through personal health problems that mainstream medicine couldn't adequately explain or resolve. I started implementing the protocol, documented what happened, and over time became one of the more experienced practitioners working with it.

That experience is the foundation of the book. Not credentials that pre-authorized me to have opinions about nutrition, but years of careful self-experimentation, obsessive reading of the primary literature, and working closely with clients going through the same process.

The book took several years to write because I wasn't willing to publish something that didn't hold up mechanistically. Every claim in it is cited. The argument is built from the ground up, not borrowed from authority.

I live on the west coast of Canada.
